It is with great excitement that Boxboards Theatre announces the line up for our January season of the classic BBC comedy ‘Allo ‘Allo.
The audience will meet and interact with three groups of people in the world of ‘Allo ‘Allo – the eccentric Café Frenchmen, the stoic German Soldiers and the consistorial French Resistance.
In the Café’ our hapless Café owner Rene’ Artois and his tone-deaf wife Edith are brought to life by
Matthew Barry and Marnie O’Mara both of Faulty Tales fame! Of course, Rene’s café would not run without its vivacious waitresses Yvette Carte-Blanch and Maria Reclaimer who are played by Jessica Neale and Bernadette Maillate’. Brett Wright is to reveal the many disguises of Monsieur Leclerc.
Colonel Von Strohm, the town commandant, his assistant Captain Hans Geering, and the dour General Von Schmelling are each played by Peter Hazell, Adam Ryder and Ben Wilson-Hill. The implacable Herr Otto Flick of the Gestapo and his muse, Helga Geerhart are to be created by Craig Wynn-Jones and Helen Watkins.
The wonderfully sensitive Lieutenant Gruber is to be played by Mark Wotherspoon and Luke Spiteri will act the egotistically romantic Captain Alberto Bertorelli.
In the world of the French Resistance, Michelle Debois is crafted by Michelle O’Rielly while her linguistically challenged Policeman, Officer Crabtree, will be fashioned by Mark Barry.
Hiding here there and everywhere are the irrepressible British Airmen, Fairfax and Carstairs, who are to be delivered by Ben Wilson-Hill and Scott Wotherspoon.
